Memoriali “Vendvarrimi i Skënderbeut” në Lezhë është monument kulture i kategorisë së parë. Ndërsa kremtohet sot 580-vjetori i Besëlidhjes së Lezhës apo Kuvendit të Lezhës të mbajtur më 2 mars 1444, Memoriali përbën vendin kryesor të aktiviteteve.
Duke sjellë në mendje struktura me kolona të mermerta të cilat i dedikoheshin figurave të tjera të rëndësishme botërore, ky memorial, përfaqëson një objekt me vlera të shumta historike dhe arkitektonike për Shqipërinë.
Ai përfundoj së ndërtuari në vitin 1981.
I vendosur në një hapësirë të dukshme, sipërfaqja e Memorialit është rreth 225 m2 duke përfshirë brenda tij rrënojat e Katedrales së Shën Nikollit, mbi të cilën ai është ndërtuar. I ideuar nga skulptori Odhise Paskali dhe arkitekti Latif Lazimi, ky monument përfaqëson denjësisht madhështinë e Skënderbeut.
Mbi pllakën e mermertë të varrit, janë vendosur kopja e shpatës dhe përkrenares së Skënderbeut, marrë nga ato origjinalet të cilat ruhen në Kunsthistorisches Museum të Vjenës. Muret e Katedrales së Shën Nikollit, të ndërtuara në shekullin e XIV-të, janë të dekoruara me 25 shpata dhe mburojën prej bronxi të Skënderbeut, të cilat tregojnë historinë e 25 betejave kryesore të heroit.
Skënderbeu vdiq në 17 janar të 1468-ës, dhe u varros në këtë vend, aty ku ai kishte themeluar “Besëlidhjen e Lezhës” në 2 mars të 1444-ës, me të cilën bashkoi principatat shqiptare kundër pushtimit osman.
